This travel blog will teach you how to travel like a pro!
To fulfil our dreams, we need to align many elements. We need a plan, we need a vision, hard work, and resources, and one of the very important elements is to get inspired.
Welcome to my solo travelling blog!
Where I share skills, mindset, and inspiration for solo travelling to help you travel the world.
I am Rajeev Rai, the creator of this solo travelling blog, and I am truly honoured and grateful to serve you and to help you in any way I can to make you travel the world.
And I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking out time to read this blog post.
Why we must travel?
Getting inspired is very important to move towards our dreams, and one way to get inspired is to read about people and their journeys similar to the journey we want to take. People who have already walked the path similar to ours.
You must be wondering who this man is. or many of you may know him as the greatest traveller in history.
Ibn Battuta was a Moroccan explorer from Tangier whose expeditions took him further than any other known traveller of his time and resulted in the work that has made him famous. The Rihla is the travelogue of Ibn Battuta.
By the way, the above picture you saw is from an interactive display in the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Once upon a time he said…
Travelling– It leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.
I consider him as a role model Ibn Battuta had set off alone, leaving his home in Morocco at the age of 21. Over the next 30 years, he travelled over 75,000 miles, experiencing diverse cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and remarkable encounters. His curiosity and courage led him to places most people of his time would only dream of visiting.
I hope this story inspires you to step out of your comfort zone to explore this beautiful world. If you want to read more about this legendary man, I recommend you read the book Travels of Ibn Battuta: Classic Treatise on Card Manipulation. The book is available on Amazon in both kindle edition and hardcover.
